The Graphical Forecast Viewer (GFV) is a Java applet which displays computer generated
weather forecasts. The forecasts are downloaded from our server and then rendered by the GFV.
They may be viewed over both space and time. The spatial display has animation support. This version
of the GFV can also display computer generated text summaries of the forecasts for any point. This new version provides coverage
for most of the U.S.

This applet animates several kinds of weather satellite images. Images appear as soon as the
first frame is loaded. Number of images looped can be changed. User has full control of forward
and backward looping speed, and dwell on the first and last frame. Applet updates automatically
when new data is available on the server.
This applet has already been used successfully at at least one other site to animate images.

This applet is a very general depiction of the inner planets of our solar system, out to Jupiter. This is a beta version. The intent is to create an application out of this version allowing the user to view more refined elliptical paths and orbital periods. Also wish to give the user ability to toggle on/off orbital path rings, etc. Applet has no real value other than it's kind of cool to watch. Following versions will hopefully better represent orbits and orbital periods.
